Explore the Fused Glass Art Collection, featuring Carson Merriefield’s unique kiln formed glass pieces crafted to bring beauty and warmth to any space.
Many of these art pieces are created by using either Glass Enamels and/or Crushed Glass in a liquid form. The industry crushes fused glass sheets into a fine powder and then add a specific binder making the powdered glass into a paint like form. So the technique is Painting with Glass. Other art works are layers of glass placed in a dam and fired for 30 hours or more in the kiln. The larger and thicker the work the longer it has to be fired.
From wall-hanging accents to tabletop decor, each piece reflects Carson’s vision as a Canadian glass artist inspired by the landscapes of Lake Superior. These artworks capture light, colour, and texture in captivating ways, making them perfect additions to any home. Whether you’re looking to adorn your walls or add a small statement piece to a room, Carson’s fused glass art offers a beautiful blend of artistry and nature.
